Tuesday's Blog

1/8/13 was a fun day in class with Mr. Schick’s fun animal noises.  This included a deer and a zebra and how they react to different situations like something coming up behind them.  We learned many things today including the animals that can and cannot be farmed.  There are more than 2 million species in the world today and the animals that can be farmed from them is about 148.  Now how many do you think humans have actually been able to farm and make a good living off of?  Well to tell you the truth only 14 animals have been able to be successfully farmed for the good of everyone.  You would think that these animals would come from many different places but 13 of them come from Europe and Asia.  Leaving the one which is the llama which comes from South America.  Because of these animals not living in every place it made it hard for some cultures to farm easily.  Especially in New Guinea where they have to use their own physical labor to do the hard stuff.  I hope tomorrow will be like today except better.
